Filip Szcześniak was born in Cairo, lived in China and Great Britain, but rose to fame in Poland. His confident rap, full of frank stories about Warsaw’s nightlife, has captivated both the critics and the audience. His EP album entitled ‘Trójkąt Warszawski’ [Warsaw Triangle] was released independently at the end of 2014 and the following ‘Umowa o dzieło’ [The Work Contract] EP, released a few months later, elevated Taco to the level of one of the greatest hopes of the Polish hip-hop. His last year’s releases – the ‘Wosk’ [Wax] EP and the long-awaited longplay debut entitled ‘Marble’ released by Asfalt Records – established Taco’s position on the Polish hip-hop market. The album reached gold sales status.
