FAQ

ACCESS AND SAFETY

  • At what time can the audience enter the festival ground?

    Both on Friday (7 July) and Saturday (8 July), the gates of the festival ground shall open at 5:00 pm. 

  • Where is the entrance to the festival ground?

    On 7 and 8 July (Friday and Saturday) only ONE entrance to the festival ground, located at the side of the Silesian Museum, shall be open (entrance from Tadeusza Dobrowolskiego Street). 

  • Are minors admitted to the festival ground?

    Minors under the age of 18 can take part in the event only if supervised by an adult who, on entering the event for the first time, signs a declaration of taking responsibility for the minor, provided by the Organiser, at the information point. 

  • Will there be a secure storage facility?

    There are no plans for a secure storage facility.

  • Can I bring an umbrella to the festival ground?

    Yes.  ☂

  • Can I bring a bike, rollerblades, a skateboard, a scooter, etc. to the festival ground?

    On safety grounds, the Organiser does not allow bringing those items to the festival ground. 

  • Can I bring my dog to the festival ground?

    Bringing a dog (or any other animal) to the festival ground is prohibited.  

  • Can I bring my deckchair / chair to the festival ground?

    Unfortunately not.  

  • Can I bring professional video and/or audio recording equipment to the festival ground?

    It is not permitted to bring photographic equipment that can be used professionally, eg. 35mm SLRs, digital SLRs, medium and large format cameras, etc.! It is also forbidden to bring video cameras and professional sound recorders to the festival ground. Only accredited journalists are entitled to bring professional audio and video recording equipment to the festival ground. 

  • Can I enter the festival site with an electronic cigarette?

    Yes.

  • Can people with chronic disease, for example diabetes, take their medicines and necessary medical equipment or bring their own food to the festival ground?

    Persons whose state of health requires specialist medication may bring the necessary medication, medical equipment, food and beverages to the festival ground, but a medical certificate is required. 

  • Do I have to bring an ID to enter the festival area?

    Yes. An ID is required and security staff may ask you to present it.  

  • Can I leave the festival ground and return after some time?

    Yes, if you wear a valid, undamaged and fastened wristband. You can enter the festival ground only through the main entrance from Tadeusza Dobrowolskiego Street.  

  • Am I insured at the festival ground?

    Yes. The Organiser has a third-party liability insurance.   

TICKETS

  • Until when will tickets be available online?

    On the days of the Festival (6-9 July), the online sales of the tickets for the given day will be conducted until 10:00 pm

  • Will tickets be available for purchase at the entrance to the festival area?

    Yes, on each day of the festival there will be stalls with tickets available for purchase.  

  • Will I get a discount when buying group tickets?

    Unfortunately not.  

  • Are Tauron customers entitled to a discount?

    Tauron customers are not entitled to any discount.  

  • I am a T-Mobile customer. How can I get a discount code?

    In order to receive a discount code entitling you to a 25% discount, all you need to do is send a free text message reading: ‘Nowa’ to 80557. The discount code can ONLY be redeemed at Ticketpro.pl. The promotion applies only to 2-day passes and lasts until the pool of discounted tickets runs out. 

  • Do I have to print out my e-ticket that I purchased online?

    Yes. You will receive the appropriate wristband based on the printed ticket.  

  • Will I enter the festival area if the ticket bears the name of another person?

    Yes.  

  • I bought a 4-day pass. Can I choose a seat at the opening/closing concert?

    Unfortunately not. The seats will be assigned at the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra concert hall. When you come to the opening concert you will also get a seat for the closing concert.  

  • I cannot attend the event. Can I return my ticket and how can I do that?

    The purchased tickets / passes are non-exchangeable and non-refundable. 
     

  • What if I lose my wristband? Can I get a duplicate?

    There will be no possibility of getting wristband duplicates.  

  • My wristband has been damaged. Can I replace it with a new one?

    Yes. Go immediately to the Information Point at the entrance gate to the festival ground where your wristband will be replaced with a new one and fastened on your wrist. Only wristbands that are damaged at the festival area will be replaced. 

  • I bought a ticket, and it was sent by post but has not arrived yet. What should I do?

    Should your ticket or pass not arrive 2 days before the start of the Festival at the latest, contact Ticketpro from Monday to Friday between 09:00 am and 5:00 pm.

  • I lost my ticket. What should I do?

    In case of damage, destruction, loss or theft of tickets, contact Ticketpro to determine the complaint procedure.

PAYMENT

  • What are the acceptable forms of payment at the festival ground?

    The only acceptable forms of payment at the festival site shall be special coupons and debit/credit cards. 

  • Will there be an ATM at the festival ground?

    There will be no ATM at the festival ground. 

  • Which payment / credit cards will be accepted?

    The following cards will be accepted at the festival ground: Diners Club, Discover, Maestro, Master Card, VISA. 

FOOD AND DRINKS

  • Czy mogę na teren Festiwalu wnieść swoje jedzenie i picie?

    Zabronione jest wnoszenie własnego jedzenia oraz napojów na teren festiwalu.

  • Can I bring my food and drinks to the festival ground?

    It is forbidden to bring your own food or drinks to the festival ground. 

  • Can I bring my alcohol to the festival area?

    No. It is forbidden to bring your own alcohol to the festival area.  

  • Will it be possible to buy cigarettes at the festival ground?

    There will be no cigarettes available for purchase at the festival ground. 

  • Will it be possible to buy strong liquors at the festival ground?

    Yes. Strong liquors will be available for sale at the festival ground.  

  • Will there be vegetarian / vegan products available at the festival ground?

    Yes.

DISABLED PERSONS

  • Can people with disabilities (with confirmed disability) get a discount on tickets?

    The discount does not apply to persons with disabilities.  

  • Does the carer of a disabled person have to buy a ticket?

    Yes.  

  • Can a blind person enter the festival area with an assistance dog?

    Yes, but only if the person with a disability shows a certificate confirming the status of the assistance dog and the required vaccination certificate of the dog.  

  • Will there be toilets for people with disabilities at the festival ground?

    Yes. There will be toilets for people with disabilities at the festival ground. 

  • Will there be special platforms for people with disabilities on each stage?

    Special platforms for people with disabilities will be prepared at the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra concert hall, T-Mobile Electronic Beats and Śląskie.Carbon Neutral. 

  • Will there be parking spaces for people with disabilities?

    Yes. 

CHILDREN

  • Can I bring a child to the festival site?

    Yes, but minors under the age of 18 can take part in the event only if supervised by an adult who, on entering the event for the first time, will have to sign a declaration of taking responsibility for the minor, provided by the Organizer! 

  • Does the child have to have a ticket?

    Children up to 10 years old have free admission to the festival ground.  

  • Will there be a Kids Zone at the festival ground?

    Of course! We also invite parents with children to the festival.  

  • On what days and at what times will the Kids Zone be open?

    The Kids Zone will be open on Friday, 7 July, and Saturday, 8 July, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. 

  • Will there be a fee for leaving my children at the Kids Zone?

    No, no at all, it will be totally free?! ☺

  • Do I need to register my child in advance?

    There's no need to do that.  

  • Are there any age restrictions for children in the Kids Zone?

    Yes. The minimum age of a child is 4 years and the maximum age is 12 years. 

  • Who will be taking care of children in the Kids Zone?

    Teachers of pre-school education will be taking care of children in the Kids Zone. 

  • I met a lost child at the festival site. What should I do?

    Every child receives a wristband with their parent’s/guardian’s phone number at the entrance. Call their parent or/and bring the child to the info/ticket point. 

PARKING & ACCESS

  • I want to come by bike. Will I be admitted to the festival area?

    Due to safety concerns, entry to the festival area with a bike will not be possible.  

  • Will there be guarded bike stands at the festival ground?

    Bike stands are not planned at the festival ground.  

  • Will there be a parking lot for cars at the festival ground?

    Yes. Parking lots will be located at the entrance to the festival ground. 

  • Will there be a fee for using the parking lot? Will it be guarded?

    The parking lot will be free of charge and will not be guarded.  

  • Is it possible to reserve a parking space in advance?

    Unfortunately not.  

  • Are pass-holders entitled to free parking?

    Parking is free of charge for all ticket/pass holders.  

  • Who may use the parking lot?

    The parking lot is publicly available. 

  • On what days and at what times will the parking lot be open?

    The parking lot will be open throughout the festival. 

  • What is the best way to get to the festival ground by public transport from the central railway station in Katowice?

    You can get to the festival ground with all buses stopping at the roundabout and/or at Rozdzinskiego Str. There will also be free transport for festivalgoers, i.e. marked buses going from the central railway station, through the city centre, the campsite, near the festival ground, i.e. to Rozdzinskiego Street. 

  • What are the GPS coordinates of the festival site?

    Latitude: 50,263507 | Longitude: 19,03489 

NATIONAL POLISH RADIO SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA CHAMBER MUSIC HALL

  • Does the pass / 1-day ticket guarantee entry to the Chamber Music Hall?

    The pass / 1-day ticket does not guarantee the entry to the Chamber Music Hall. 

  • Is the number of seats limited?

    The National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra Chamber Music Hall, due to its unique character, has a limited number of seats. On safety grounds, a limited number of people will be permitted to enter the hall. In order to have a guaranteed seat at the Chamber Music Hall, it is worth arriving well in advance.  

  • Do I need an additional ticket / guest pass to enter the concert?

    No.  The first 400 people can enter the concert at the Chamber Music Hall. 

  • Can I reserve a seat?

    Unfortunately not.  

CAMPSITE

  • On what days and at what times will the campsite be open?

    The campsite will be open from 12:00 am on Thursday, 6 July, to 12:00 am on Monday, 10 July. 

  • Is the campsite open 24 hours a day?

    Yes. 

  • How can I get from the campsite to the festival ground?

    The Organisers will provide free bus service from the campsite to the festival site both ways. 

  • Will there be sanitary units on the campsite?

    Yes, there will be sanitary units with warm showers on the campsite. 

  • Will there be some place with food and drinks being served at the campsite?

    Yes, there will be a food and drinks area with foodtrucks. 

  • Can I bring alcohol to the campsite?

    Yes.  

  • Will the campsite be guarded?

    The campsite security will be provided by professional security service 24 hours a day. 

  • Is the car parking ticket included in the price of the campsite fee?

    No. You need to pay for the car parking ticket. 

  • Will there be a place for camper vans on the campsite?

    Unfortunately not. There will be only places to put up tents. 

  • Will there be a shop on the campsite?

    No.  

  • Will there be a place with an electrical connection?

    Unfortunately not.  

  • Will there be a secure storage facility on the campsite?

    No. 

  • Will it be possible to rent camping equipment, such as tents and sun loungers?

    The rental of recreational equipment is not planned.  

  • Will there be Wi-Fi on the campsite?

    No. 

  • Will there be kitchen facilities and kitchen utensils (cookers, dishes) on the campsite with the possibility to prepare meals?

    No. 

COMPLAINTS

  • How can I lodge a complaint?

    Complaints should be sent by registered mail no later than 14 days after the festival’s end to the following address:
